This charming Delft tile depicts a Dutchman enjoying a tobacco pipe while sitting down. The tile was made around 1680 in classical Delft style.
It is decorated with ‘ox-head’ corner motifs and overall is in good condition with visible glaze damage across the whole surface, representing part of its story.
